Aircol AMX 68 has been formulated from base stock specially chosen for its excellent low volatility characteristics. This addresses the industry recognised problem of lubricant fractionation, oil carry over and consequent high increases in viscosity and top-up rates associated with many ammonia refrigeration lubricants. In addition the lubricant has enhanced oxidative and thermal stability coupled with good low temperature characteristics, to provide the complete lubricity and protection package for ammonia refrigeration compressors.
