Hot Metal Lubricant™ 7162 is a heavy-duty graphitic water-dispersible hot metal lubricant. This forging lubricant contains high-temperature ingredients that provide excellent metal flow during hot forging or hot extrusion operations. Hot Metal Lubricant 7162 forms a uniform dispersion of graphite in water, which provides a consistent coating to protect tooling and provide high-temperature lubricity. The product does not contain flammable liquids, eliminating heavy smoke fumes and fire hazards.
