Aqua-Quench® 140 is an advanced polymer quenchant ideal for induction and flame hardening of steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper and brass parts such as crankshafts, camshafts, transmission components, starter ring gears and bearings. After being quenched with the product, metal parts dry free of any sticky residue that usually deposits on equipment and blocks spray nozzles and filters. The polyalkylene glycol based formula also resists microbial contamination and protects the quenching system from corrosion. Systems with Aqua-Quench 140 run cleaner and have a longer life, with less downtime and lower cleaning costs. The product is diluted with water in use, but provides many benefits over water quenching.
