Houghto-Quench® 3430 and Houghto-Quench G are medium-speed cold quenching oils suitable for use at temperatures up to 180 ºF (82 ºC). Both quenchants give greater depth of hardening than straight mineral oils to help meet stringent automotive and aerospace requirements. Houghto-Quench 3430 is a low-viscosity cold quenching oil based on paraffinic mineral oils formulated with an additive package that provides uniform rapid quenching.
