Q8 EDM M Fluid is recommended for spark erosion, wire erosion and all electrical discharge machines where surface finish is of paramount importance. It is particularly recommended as a replacement for kerosene based products. Q8 EDM M Fluid is superior in performance and more pleasant to use than other alternatives. It has a high flash point, low volatility, resistance to fuming with reduced fire risk, and has a low aromatic content in line with current health requirements. High pumping rates are possible and ensure adequate flow around the work pieces. This coupled with good filterability and rapid settling out of particles ensures a clean cool fluid is available where needed at all times. Metal removal rates and accuracy are improved and electrode wear is lowered. This product will not stain or corrode copper alloys, or any other metal machine parts.
