Neste Hypoidi LF is an automotive gear and final drive oil series with extreme-pressure additives which meet the requirements of the API GL.5 specification. It is made of modern EHVI (Extra High Viscosity Index) base oil. Neste Hypoidi LF oil series contains effective EP, oxidation and rust preventing additives. The SAE classification 80W(77W)-90 describes Neste Hypoidi LF's superiority in comparison with SAE 80W-90 oils. The cold flow ability of Neste Hypoidi LF is much better than that of mineral and semi-synthetic oils. Due to the good cold flow ability of NESTE Hypoidi LF, the engine starts easily, the transmission is immediately lubricated and up to 4% of fuel is saved, which, in case of a heavy-duty 40 ton truck, means a fuel saving of two litres per 100 km. A truck driving 200 000 km per year saves up to 4000 litres of fuel.
