HYDROX 8 EP is extreme pressure (EP) rated gear lubricant based on medium viscosity mineral oil.

HYDROX 8 EP is designed primarily for lubrication of auxiliary or main propulsion thruster units, particularly where water ingress may occur. It has been formulated to be suitable in applications where a combined gear lubricant/hydraulic function is required.
HYDROX 8 EP can also be used in sterntube lubrication where an integral gearbox is included and also for gearbox lubrication of deck mounted equipment and crude oil washing machines, where an ISO 100 viscosity grade is appropriate.
