COMPWAY SX 46 is included in a series of very high-performance, fully synthetic compressor oils based on polyalphaolefine. COMPWAY SX 46 is optimised to operate within a very wide temperature range and in demanding operating conditions.

COMPWAY SX 46 is recommended for oil lubricated screw- and piston compressors where the compressor manufacturer prescribes this viscosity and type of oil. The product can also be used as hydraulic fluid. The lifetime of the product is dependent on the operating conditions and the maintenance procedures. Recommended for up to 8000 hours of operation, if the oil is still suitable for use. Repeated oil analyses are recommended if necessary to determine the condition of the oil. COMPWAY SX 46 is not miscible with silicon or polyglycol (PAG)-based compressor oils.
