ALFAREF R series are high quality synthetic refrigeration oils, on polyol-ester basis, that provide special low pour point and chemical stability in very low temperatures. ALFAREF R oils have the ability to maintain their excellent rheological characteristics, in very low temperatures, even at -40c and are specifically formulated for use in refrigeration compressors using HFC or HCFC refrigerants. In comparison with conventional lubricants, they provide longer changeover intervals. Furthermore they have excellent solubility in new technology refrigerants. ALFAREF R lubricants are available at 5 viscosity grades: 32, 46, 68, 100 and 220.
